About us

Based in beautiful North Dorset, we love designing and making beautiful cabinetry. Whether you are after a new kitchen, utility room, boot room, or wardrobe, or you have a tricky alcove that needs a bespoke cupboard or set of shelves to make the most of it, we would love to help. We take great pride in all aspects of our work from the initial stages to the fitting, providing a very high quality finish.

Meet the team

Lucy

Lucy is the skill in the workshop behind Shaker Dorset, most likely found taking a mountain of wood into the workshop and emerging covered in sawdust with something beautifully handcrafted.

Lucy also has many years of experience designing as well as making.

Harry

Harry is the serial doodler and sketcher side of Shaker Dorset, always with one too many pens in his pockets, he is the one interpreting client’s ideas and getting them down on paper.

He also has many years of making a fitting experience behind him, which means our beautiful work is fitted to perfection.
